Now,
Pay Attention...
The
third radio episode of Dad's Army, true to its
Television counterpart recorded five years previously,
features the debut appearance of Geoffrey Lumsden as Colonel
Square.
A certain
amount of rewriting was necessary for this episode, Captain
Mainwaring places his platoon under Square's command in
the Church Hall rather than Square's residence at Marsham
Hall.
Supporting actor David Sinclair portrays two roles which
was a frequent occurence in radio episodes, though he
is only credited as The Driver he also plays a Bank Clerk
earlier on in the episode.
Neither Ian Lavender or Arnold Ridley appear in this episode.
