Now,
Pay Attention...
The
second radio series of Dad's Army began on BBC
Radio 4 on Tuesday 11th February 1975.
The series
itself was recorded the previous year, and Don't Forget
the Diver was one of the first major script rewrites
Michael Knowles and Harold Snoad faced, as on television
the episode contained many visual jokes which simply could
not be transferred to radio.
Edward Sinclair
makes his second appearance in the radio series as the
Verger (surprisingly Edward only ever appeared in 11 radio
episodes).
