Visit of Wally K Daly
The club was entertained by Wally K Daly, as he told the club about his antics as a 'part time parrot'. If only we had known earlier, a bowl of bird seed would have been 'cheeper' than making him sing for his supper.
On a serious note, Wally gave the Barking Club many useful ideas and hints for the national Blood Pressure campaign of 5th April 2003.
Inner Wheel Concert
The month started with a fantastic turnout of Rotarians acting a drivers and helpers for the successful Annual Inner Wheel Concert
.
Boxful of Memories
Roy Harvey entertained the club by opening his Pandora's box of memories. The insight into the past through the eyes of Fellows of the Rotary Club of Barking was extremely interesting, so much so that the talk highlighted that was given many years ago, could be the subject matter for an interesting evening.
Jazz Concert
After a slow start the Jazz concert turned into a wonderful success, maybe in the years to come someone will bring the evening’s programme out of a ‘box of memories’ and again say well done Roy Harvey
