Hungerford Arcade is currently home to over
100 antiques dealers. Some live locally in the Hungerford area, whilst
others are far more remote. This does not pose a problem, because our
staff are here to sell to your customers. Our
staff are very knowledgeable, so they can use their expertise to help
the customer. If you wish to sell directly to customers from the Arcade,
then this can also be accommodated.
Dealers pay a fixed monthly fee that depends on the size of the unit taken. Units range in size from small, wall mounted cabinets to walk in rooms. Cabinets are fitted with sturdy locks and tasteful lighting, all of which is included in the fee. We also include the provision of labels for you to describe and price your items. The only other fees incurred are the small transaction charges passed on when a customer buys an item using a debit or a credit card. More details of this are available from the Arcade management. Records are kept of each item sold, and its price, and each week your sales are collated and printed out for your 'dealer book'. This is accessible at any time by visiting, or by calling the arcade.
