This site was constructed by means of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with the aim of achieving a good understanding in the HTML language. In order to build the site I had to obtain different forms of software and learn how to use and adapt them to my design. Hopefully some of the enormous potential in the software was made apparent throughout the website. Java coding was also utilized in the body of the web pages to incorporate special features such as the clock in the toolbar (left). The software I used for this site were:
Microsoft FrontPage 2000
SWiSH 2.00
Both tools were very user-friendly and powerful. FrontPage was the main editor used to pull together all the aspects of site. From here the HTML coding could be understood and manipulated while any form of Java programming is easily inserted. SWiSH was used to make the Flash animation (like the one that loads up initially as the welcome page).
I shall endeavour to keep this site updated regularly and welcome any comments that you may have or suggestions to improve the layout interface or design.
