Q. What is a toyfair?
A. A table top sale. Stalls fill the venue and are stocked with collectable toys, old and new.
Q. Who can attend a toyfair?
A. Everyone is welcome at toyfairs, new and established traders, collectors, old and young!
Q. Who can sell at a toyfair?
A. We welcome anyone to sell at our toyfairs, however prior booking is essential. We are proud to have a diverse selection of stall holders who include shop owners, full and part time traders and also people selling their own collections.
Q. What might I see for sale?
A. An endless variety of collectables, possibly including Corgi, Lledo, Efe Machbox, Hornby, Bachmann, Model Railways, Sci Fi, Star Wars, film and TV related items, military vehicles, lead and plastic figures, Scalextric, Action Man, Dinky Toys, Planes, Buses, Modern Trucks, Tractors and farm models, display cabinets and so very much more.
Q. What time do fairs start and how much will it cost?
A. All prices and times of fairs can be found via the venues page. Early entry is available at all fairs for £5 per person (£10 East Midlands on New Years Day). Most venues offer full facilities including parking, catering and all fairs are indoors. Admission charges apply at all fairs but concession and family rates are available.
Q. I want to book a table to sell at a fair, can you give me some more information?
A. Tables are prices per 6ft table and these are supplied, for two tables the price doubles and so on. One backing table of your own can be used per 6ft (no charge) or you can request one from us for £5. All tables must be pre-booked over the phone via David Webb on 01522 698388, prior to the event and regular traders can pay on the day. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a fair. Should you wish to pay by cheque these should be made payable to 'J&J Fairs LTD'
