Hello,
I'm John Bennison
I’ve lived in Ewshot
for the past eleven years with my wife
Jane and two teenaged children, Emma and Matthew.
Prior to moving to the village we lived in Fleet. Both of
our children were educated at Crondall Primary School,
where I served on the Parents Committee.
I have been at
the fore-front of the campaign for a
smaller and more sustainable development on the Queen
Elizabeth Barracks site. I am concerned about the
changes being proposed for extending the level of
weekend flying at Farnborough Airport and the effect that
this will have on the quality of life in the local area.
I take an active interest in Crondall Parish Council and
regularly attend their various meetings. I am also a
member of the Crondall Society.
I run my own
small company, with my wife Jane.
My life-long interest is running and I have been a
committee member with a local running and triathlon
club. I recently took part in, and completed, the
Fleet half-marathon.
