We have a strong commitment to customer service. As the shop has grown we have developed the service and support we give our clients. This page is a summary of what our customers can expect to get from us.

MIA Membership

We are proud to say that we are now members of the Music Industries Association. The MIA is a self regulating trade wide association with a code of conduct for it’s members. Membership of the MIA involves maintaining the integrity of the music industry and the ongoing provision of support and encouragement of music in general. Members of the MIA must not act in a fraudulent way. We are also applying for accreditation with the MIA by ensuring that our members of staff have received appropriate training and adhere to the principles of the MIA. Our training programme is currently underway and we look forward to long membership of the association.

Annual Service

We have received really good feedback from our customers on the free service we provide with every new and second hand guitar sold. We have therefore extended this and it will now be a FREE ANNUAL SERVICE on all stringed instruments so long as they are still owned by the customer. We will also be giving a discount voucher for 25% off the first annual service on all brass and woodwind instruments.

Workshops

Our FREE workshops have been very popular since we started them a few months ago. We already have Drum, Guitar and Amp basics on the program and will be hosting evenings for parents. With Ben joining the team there will be scope for expanding the topics of the workshops. Keep a look out in the store for the new additions to the workshop diary.

Music Trac

We will provide and fit one FREE OF CHARGE to every instrument over £350 bought from us.

No Commission

Unlike many music shops we are opposed to our staff relying on commission to supplement their income. We believe that if a customer buys an instrument it should be the right one for them and their budget. Our staff are therefore free to provide you with unbiased advice.

Internet Sales

We believe that when you buy an instrument you should be able to see it, play it and make sure it is the right instrument for you. For this reason we have decided not to sell instruments online. However we do offer books and some accessories online for your convenience. Please refer to our online sales page for further information. We also believe that all of our customers should benefit from the same discounts and any online discounts are also available from our store.

Sales Assistance

We like to provide our customers with the time and attention that they need when they come to our shop. At busy times this may mean that you have a slight wait before being assisted. Please be assured that we will be with you as soon as we can and in the meantime please feel free to browse or take a seat. When one of our team is available you will then receive the same consideration as the customer before you.
