Annual Service
We have received really good feedback from our customers on the free service we provide with every new and second-hand guitar sold. We have therefore extended this and it will now be a FREE ANNUAL SERVICE on all stringed instruments so long as they are still owned by the customer. We will also be giving a discount voucher for 25% off the first annual service on all brass and woodwind instruments.
Workshops
Our FREE workshops have been very popular since we started them a few months ago. We already have Drum, Guitar and Amp basics on the program and will be hosting evenings for parents. With Ben joining the team there will be scope for expanding the topics of the workshops. Keep a look out in the store for the new additions to the workshop diary.
Yamaha
It’s taken a while but we are really pleased to announce that we are now dealers for Yamaha. We are particularly looking forward to the expansion of our brass and woodwind section with Yamaha’s high quality instruments.
Fender
It’s taken a while (again!) but we are finally dealers for Fender and Fender Squire. The instruments have started to arrive, including a Paisley Fender P bass and Mandolin and we’re looking forward to the amps and the rest of the guitars arriving.
MIA membership
We are proud to say that we are now members of the Music Industries Association. For more information on why this matters please see the customer service page.
Music Trac
We have recently started stocking Music Trac. Music Trac is a security chip, which is securely and discreetly fitted to your instrument. If the instrument is lost or stolen and recovered it can be traced back to you. All police forces have access to a scanner and we have made Gosport Police aware that we have a scanner available for their use at the shop. Music Trac costs £19.99 and can be fitted for as little as £5.00. We will provide and fit one FREE OF CHARGE to every instrument over £350 bought from just music.
Shop Move
Our new store on Stoke Road, Gosport, is a big improvement on the last store. The more loyal customers kindly referred to the old place as ‘cosy’. This roughly translated to ‘one in one out’ and ‘would you mind breathing in please’ if more than one customer came in at the same time. We’d like to thank all of our customers for bearing with us during the move and hope that the extra space was worth waiting for.
