An endurance race is based on a team event (This will depend on the driver numbers for the whole event). E.g., A 30 driver race meeting could equate to 6 teams of 5 drivers per team. Everybody participates from start to finish. Using a computerised system we keep a record of lap numbers and times.

A team leader selected by each group can structure any tactical moves in positioning drivers, Please inform us in advance if you wish to choose teams yourself otherwise the race director will do this on the night. Drivers will be called in via number boards approximately every fifteen minutes, each driver is guarenteed thirty minutes on the track.

The two Endurance formats are as follows

Timed Endurance Race

This race will be run on a time scale and will conclude after the nominated time is up. The team with the most completed laps at the finishing time will be the winners. The runners up for second and third place will be the next two teams with the highest amount of laps accumulated.

Lap Endurance Race

This race has a similar format to the timed endurance race only this race will be concluded when the first team reach the end of the laps nominated. (e.g., either 500, 400 or 300) This race is designed to fit in with our customers requirements, The runners-up will be decided by the amount of laps reached by the next two teams.

The event will still be hosted by our race director. State of the art electronic lap timing equipment will ensure a smooth yet exciting race event for all. A print-out of lap-times will be available on request.

Safety standards are a major priority at Karting 2000. On arrival we will demonstrate flagging procedures, rules and regulations to all drivers attending. The track-side marshals are fully trained to react quickly and safely at all times.
