Twitter is a bit like a news bulletin page, with short 140 character long clips of information - easy to digest and great for announcing important dates, events or happenings. Followers are people with Twitter accounts who choose to follow / subscribe to our 'tweets' or news. You don't have to sign up to view The Kennet Avon Trust's Twitter page it's all free. If you wanted to sign up to Twitter and make your own account, that's free too - don't forget to follow us!
Facebook digs deeper into the social networking world. You will have to sign up for the full benefits and to view our page - signing up is free and easy. Facebook offers not only a base to announce news, but also creates campaigns and attract a wide audience.
Blogger or Blogspot is simply a 'blog' or kept up to date page listing news and events - it's free to view, and you won't have to sign up to view anything. It allows news to be displayed in a friendly, fast format.
