Aqueduct completed in 1798 and designed by John Rennie. Local facilities include Cross Guns pub, cafe, craft shops.

Bradford on Avon - Information Return to Map

Sited on River Avon, Kennet and Avon Canal and railway. Once prosperous weaving town. 17th century bridge crosses the river on which a small lockup is located (once used as chapel). Historical highlights include Mary Tory, Church of St Laurence - a restored Saxon chapel, and The Shambles, the town's original market.
