Given a new lease of life as ‘hire’ locos on the European mainland Heljan have given them a further lease of life in model form! Although a ‘ready-to run’ model of the class 58 does exist Heljan believe a market exists for a high quality version and aim to achieve just that. Both styles of bogie will be produced although the first releases will feature the later modified exhaust silencer.
