We are delighted to invite you to spend your next family holiday or short break in our beautifully furnished 1st floor, two-bedroom apartment  The Mikonos Playa was completed in 2004 and is is perfectly located - just a stones throw away from Duquesa marina and a fabulous stretch of beach - the New Golden Mile. Duquesa is still considered one of the Costa Del Sol's best kept secrets yet it is just some 40 minutes from Malaga airport along the E15 toll road or 1 hour 15 minutes along the A7 coast road. Marbella is just 30 minutes drive and Gibraltar is only 20 minutes away. Duquesa can really seem like a thousand miles away from the throng of the typical Spanish holiday resorts and offers an unparalleled view of life in Southern Spain.
 
Our marble floored apartment is fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. You will find 32" LCDTV, DVD player, iPod dock, internet connection (via wall-socket), CD player. PlayStation, air-conditioning, heating, safe, bed linen, bath towels, refrigerator, freezer, cooker/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee peculator. Not that you will want to cook once you checkout the fantastic selection of restaurants and bars all just a short stroll away.  Fancy a long cool drink first? Our west facing terrace is equipped with sun loungers, perfect for catching the afternoon and early evening sun.

   

Our apartment, number 28, has two bedrooms. The master features a double bed with fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom, featuring a Jacuzzi bath. The second bedroom has two single beds whilst the second bathroom features a hand basin, shower and toilet. The living room sofa-bed means that up to six can be accommodated. The Mikonos Playa complex, features just 55 apartments and, like the name suggests, has been designed on a Greek theme, with Olympic blue window frames and fittings to bring a touch of Greece to the Costa  It benefits from secure access, private designated underground parking and lift access (so suitable for wheelchairs). You have full use of the private pool and deck on the 1st floor with no high rise hotels to spoil the sea view. Barely a minute away, the blue flag beach stretches west to Sabanillas and on to Estepona. On the other side, the beach winds around the coast to Sotogrande.   Sabanillas is now also accessible by a paved beachfront walkway.
 
 
The beautiful port offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts as well as a myriad of attractions for those with no aspirations to take to the water. The attractive promenades encircling the port (closed to traffic making it very safe for children.) offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafés in which to while away the days. The vast choice of eating and drinking options include Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and, of course, Spanish with its fresh, local fish. Numerous services and grocers are also on hand. Occasionally the port hosts a unique Crafts Market, popular with the local residents as well as visitors. In the summer there is a weekly street market nearby.
 
For the golf enthusiast there are numerous courses within easy reach - the famous Robert Trent Jones designed Duquesa Golf is a couple of minutes away, Sotogrande and Valderrama about 10 minutes away.

 
Less than an hour away is Tarifa, one of the worlds best water sport centres. For anglers good carp and barbel fishing is available locally [www.go-fishing-spain.com] and, if you just want scenery, you'll be totally spoilt with the beautiful famous 'white villages' of Gaucin and Casares just a short drive into the hills.
