Chris

Chris "Kit-Bag" was born in Church Village, near Pontypridd in June 1963, and named after Christine Keeler by her Great Grandmother, Alice. She is the youngest daughter of Gwynne and Linda Rees (with Sian her elder sister making an entrance a year or so earlier).

She left school in 1979 and like me started work with Barclays Bank although in Pontypridd. She was transferred to Tonypandy before eventually moving to Whitchurch, Cardiff branch where she took root and killed time until I was transferred there and swept her off her feet (yeah right!)

We were engaged in June 1991 and married in May 1992 and initially lived in Chris's house in Llantwit Fardre, near Pontypridd until we moved back to Tutshill in 1994, where we have lived ever since, just around the corner from the Elder "Kit-Bags".

Over recent years Chris has bravely battled with fibromyalgia, a condition which finally ended her career with Barclays Bank ... Since leaving she has developed a wide social circle and can often be seen "lunching" in and around Chepstow.

2007 has been a terrible year for Chris. In August of this year she lost her father after a short illness but she has battled on bravely and is a huge support for her mother.
