Park View hostel
topThe Park View hostel provides temporary accommodation for eight young people. The hostel is next door to the KYHP office in Kingswood.
Young people generally live at the hostel for between six months and one year although some may move on sooner.The maximum stay is two years.
Each resident at the hostel has their own room. Furniture is provided by KYHP. Each resident's room has a wash basin. Residents share bathrooms, living rooms, kitchens and garden. There are shared kitchens where young people cook their food and cooking classes are held.
The Park View hostel is located within walking distance of social and leisure facilities in Kingswood, shops and bus routes.
Anyone can apply to live at Park View hostel. Most potential residents are referred to us by another agency but self-referrals are welcome.
KYHP will assess the eligibility, support needs and risk of each applicant referred to us.
The eligibility criteria:
- aged between 16 and 25
- local connection to South Gloucestershire
- need support to access or sustain independant housing
- commitment to working towards resettlement
