How to Volunteer

Volunteering for Lancashire Friend is a brilliant way of making new friends, learning new skills, but most importantly, helping other lesbian and gay people in need.

All new volunteers go through a period of training, where you'll learn more about the services that we provide, and how we do this. You can then decide what you want to do within the group, and learn more about that.

Also, not all volunteers want to work on the phoneline! There are many other tasks to be done, such as publicity, fundraising, befriendings and counselling.
