Lymington Community Association

Welcome to the Centre

Lymington Community Association is an independent registered charity formed in 1946 to promote the wellbeing of the community of Lymington and its immediate area.

The Centre is one of the largest in Hampshire and in conjunction with Brockenhurst College and the Workers Educational Association we can offer classes to suit every taste. Numerous clubs and affiliated groups meet regularly and offer a wide range of activities and we are sure that whatever interests you, it can be found here. We encourage membership and volunteering but we welcome all who visit us. Why not call in for coffee, lunch or tea enjoyed in the garden if you wish. You can browse our books and magazines for sale at bargain prices and take in our friendly atmosphere.

Our Reception desk is open from 9.30 am - 4.30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 10 am - 12 pm. Come and see us soon and we will be happy to let you know "What's On" and give you have any information you need.

The Centre comprises some 20 main rooms plus offices, stores etc., and members' parking, mainly at the rear of the building. The Centre is licensed as a venue for marriages and civil partnerships. The cinema in the Malt Hall shows films Tuesday-Thursday evenings at 7.15 pm and matinees during school holidays at 2.30 pm. Pre-school and lunch club runs Monday-Friday during term time and our refreshments area serves coffees, light lunches and teas.
