Traditional Patchwork and Quilting

This ten week course is for anyone who would like to learn how to make a patchwork quilt. Working by hand and machine we will explore different techniques and build on existing sewing skills to make stunning original work.

We will learn about colour and pattern and explore different designs. During the course there will be opportunities to make different items such as a bag, cushion, wall hanging or pincushion as well as the traditional quilt.
This course is suitable for the beginner or those with more experience. This will be an informal fun class making it an enjoyable learning experience.
