Museum of Science and Industry’s Great Garratt Gathering

14th to 16th August 2009

 

Celebrating a Century of Garratt locomotives a feast of Garratt’s are present at Liverpool Road Station in Central Manchester, the worlds first ever passenger station. With the only surviving Standard Gauge Garratt in the UK on display, the first Garratt K1 from Dinas shed and the original Gorton shunter in the former of 04-0st 1729.
