Last summer, Leicester hosted a huge event over the August Bank
Holiday, attracting thousands of people from across the country. For
five days, the city centre was buzzing with energy, as Expo fever
took hold!
Well...IT'S BACK!!!
The streets of
Leicester will once again come alive when EXPO 05 transforms the
city centre for the second year. The five day extravaganza is being
expanded to 7 zones, all located in the heart of the city centre,
including an even larger tropical beach, a sports and games area, an
international food and drink market, an outdoor cinema screen, a
five day stage programme of music, dance, theatre and artistic
projects, new Bollywood themed entertainment and lots, lots more!
EXPO O5 will have
something for everyone so don’t just imagine it … BE THERE!
