How to Buy

Assuming we have wines readily available - either in Bordeaux or from UK held bonded stocks - which fit your investment requirements, and after acceptance of our quotation, an invoice in Pounds Sterling per case
(12 bottles) will be sent to you for immediate payment.
The wines are sold "lying in bond UK", although as stated above, they may be shipped over from stocks held in Bordeaux - a process which takes 2- 3 weeks.

Storage

Unless otherwise instructed, for storage, the Bonded Warehouse of our choice is London City Bond (LCB), who hold stock for ourselves and for many wine trade companies. An account will be created in your name, giving you complete independence and control over your stock.

Rent is currently charged at £12.60 + VAT per case per year or part thereof, and will be invoiced by LCB directly.

We strongly recommend clients store their wine In Bond, as storage conditions are ideal for long term cellaring and this is taken into account when the time comes to re-sell.  Also, storing In Bond saves unnecessary capital outlay on VAT and Duty.

Insurance

If the wine is stored at LCB, insurance cover is included in the rental charge. In the unlikely event of a claim, the wines will be replaced or, failing that, money will be paid out to the current market value of the stock lost or damaged.
