At LIA we endeavour to
create and provide a happy, caring, Islamic environment, where
each individual is respected while encouraging him/her to
be confident and excited about new challenges and to strive
towards excellence in all they do.
Admission
Fees
The LIA
is an independent Islamic school and receives no government
funding, hence it is funded entirely by fees. The school
fees for the current year is £1400 per annum paid
through monthly standing orders. Call LIA to confirm
the current status of fees on (0116) 270 5343.
Uniform
Yes, the
school has a uniform policy which conforms to the Islamic
code on dressing. All students are required to wear
the school uniform. The uniform is available from the
school.
Timetable
As
the school caters for both boys and girls, the current
facilities at the premises, make it very difficult for
both sets to be taught at the same time. For this reason,
the girls utilise the building from morning to afternoon,
with the boys coming from afternoon till early evening.
For the girls, the school begins at 7:55am and finishes
at 1:15pm. For the boys, the school begins at 12:55pm
and finishes at 6:15pm.
Transport
There
are a number of mini bus drivers offering transport
services. Parents are required to make their own arrangements
with the mini bus drivers.
