Susan started her dancing career at age eight and attended professional ballet school from age twelve, at the Arts Educational Trust in London. By Eighteen, she was dancing professionally in the Ballet de Nice, and went on to dance as a soloist with leading international classical and contemporary companies including Israel Ballet, Bat-Dor and Northern Ballet, dancing in works by world renowned choreographers such as A. Ailey, L. Lubovitch, R. Cohen, A. Tudor and D. Humphreys to name a few. Dancing the classics, such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Nutcracker were a dream come true!

Having spent five years working in New York, she returned to London as guest teacher with the Royal Ballet Educational Dept. Since 1989, Susan has been a leading ballet teacher at the celebrated Pineapple Studios & Urdang Academy in Covent Garden, teaching adults from beginners to professionals.

Susan is often invited to speak as a dance expert on radio and interviewed for various newspaper and magazine articles on dance. She recently spoke on BBC London's Jenni Barnett Show.
