12. NOTES

This section contains information that is not mandatory but can clarify certain points.

12.1 Intended use.

This Configuration Management Plan shall be used to establish uniform configuration management practices for all systems, subsystems, configuration items, and supporting items being acquired for the stated project.
The primary intention of this CMP is to provide information on the Configuration Management policy and methods to be implemented.

12.2 Definitions used in this document.

A list of definitions is included in the Glossary file.

12.3 Abbreviations and acronyms used in this document.

A list of abbreviations and acronyms is included in the Abbreviations and acronyms file.

12.4 Changes from previous issue.

When this document is revised, notes as to the changes will be identified here.

12.5 CMP Tailoring.

This CMP reflects the current CM program. Should additions to, or enhancements to the CM requirements be necessary. This CM plan may be modified accordingly. Requests to amend this existing program must be made in writing through the appropriate contractual channels. All amendments will be by acquirer approval, and will result in a document revision.
