The objective of this 'Hardware Engineering Manual' is to establish and define the design and development standards and procedures for the HWCIs. This manual shall identify definitively the methods and software tools to be used and the documentation tools necessary to facilitate their use. All restrictions and clarifications on their use shall be stated. The procedures necessary for the preparation for any formal review will also be specified.
NOTE: This 'Hardware Engineering Manual' is a part of the 'Hardware Development Plan.
This 'Hardware Development Plan' establishes the design and development environment and procedures to be used by the hardware development teams for the project.
