Master Record Index - example

Overview
The 'Master Record Index' lists a master set of drawings which define the design standard (product baseline) of both hardware and software and records changes to the design.
The purpose of the MRI is as follows:

• reference the design records including; STTE, special tools, etc;
• reference all Class I, Class II, and associated documents changes;
• establish the production baseline (PBBS);
• define the Certification status;
• record applicability of approved Class I status of materiel;
• provide a baseline for supplied items as-fitted and modified.
