FOREWORD

1. SCOPE

1.1 Identification.

This 'Software Development Plan (overall) establishes the overall organizations, procedures, schedules, activities, etc., necessary to design and develop the software for the projected system.

1.2 System overview.

This document comprises of the following sections:

• Section 1 identifies, and provides an overview of the system and document with a relationship to other plans;
• Section 2 lists the referenced documents;
• Section 3 provides an overview of the required work;
• Section 4 defines the general software development activities;
• Section 5 defines the detail software development activities;
• Section 6 presents the schedules and activity network;
• Section 7 describes the project organization and resources for each build;
• Section 8 contains any general information that aids in understanding the document.

1.4 Relationship to other plans.

The Software Development Plan (overall) is provided in response to the 'System Engineering Management Plan' to establish a program plan for the generation of software for the system.
