Welcome to the WEA Mansfield Community ICT Project
This site has links to adult education courses run by the Workers Educational Association in the Mansfield and Bassetlaw areas and beyond.
The project aims to provide Information Communication and Technology (ICT) training to adults in the local area. Classes are relaxed and in most cases have a maximum of 12 learners. There are courses leading to recognised IT qualifications, courses to learn ICT skills such as digital imaging or web design and courses using ICT as a tool, e.g. researching family history.
We are a registered UK Online Centre and provide computer facilities (laptops) in venues where there are none. In most cases we can also offer internet access, through funding from UK Online.
North Notts Community Programme - Courses covering a broad range of topics including personal development, arts and crafts, languages, history and skills for life are also available, together with the Women's Learning Programme and a comprehensive domestic violence awareness and education programme.
Working in Partnership with local organisations - We work mostly in partnership with community organisations and groups to deliver learning that is appropriate to local needs. If you are a community group and would like to put on a community course, please contact us to discuss your ideas.
