Our Online Centre has 7 up to date computers all connected to the internet.  Each computer has the full Microsoft Office 2003 suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access as well as Adobe Photoshop Elements v5.  All our computers are connected to the A3 colour laser printer and a scanner.

All computers have CD and DVD burners and you can also use a USB memory stick, memory card or connect your digital camera to download your images or documents.

We also have an internet connection available for those of you with a laptop, so you can bring your laptop along and get connected.

• Using the Internet is a vital part of everyday life, even if you’ve no experience, at Marches Access Point you’ll find help and advice to make the most of this amazing resource!  From researching family history to completing homework, finding recipes or booking a holiday, being able to access the Internet is an invaluable skill.

• Our Online Centre comprises of 7 up to date computers all online, and installed with publishing and word processing software, including Microsoft Office 2003, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access. • Downloading your pictures Not sure how to download your photos from your digital camera? Find out how easy this can be at our Centre! And, when you’ve got the hang of this, you’ll soon be able to…………

• Send and receive emails and attachments  Attach your photographs to emails and keep family and friends up-to-date with your latest snaps!  Email is a great way to keep in touch – and it’s so easy!

• Save your work to a hard drive, CD ROM or floppy disk, create letters, CVs, job applications, spreadsheets...    the list is endless! If you haven’t completed your work, you can save it to our hard drives; once you have, you can copy it and use it in all sorts of media applications.

  We also have an Internet connection available for those of you with a laptop, so bring your laptop along and benefit from broadband speeds, with the comfort and familiarity of your own desktop.
