We offer completely refurbished training facilities available for bookings seven days a week.

Training sessions are provided using up to 11 work stations, all with 19” flat screens, webcams, and headphones.

A SMARTboard and projector are provided for group training courses in a variety of IT related applications that aim to cater for a full range of abilities and interests.

Each computer has the full Microsoft Office 2003 suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access.  All work stations have Adobe Photoshop Elements v5, enabling full digital image manipulation.

Our training courses are organised and delivered by our Community Tutors; Emma Phillips and Amanda Weaver.

Emma has over 10 years experience as a Community Tutor helping those who are terrified of computers to gain confidence in using the Internet and sending and receiving emails.  She has also helped the more experienced to improve their computer skills in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Photoshop and many other topics. 

Amanda has been a Community Tutor for the past year helping the complete beginner to become confident in using the Internet and email.  Amanda has also run Computer Skills for Job Search classes to help those who are looking to return to work.

The Training Centre can be hired for a morning, afternoon or evening session should you wish to deliver your own training course or hold a meeting.
