Testing
Each chapter is tested with a couple of people who read it through and make suggestions. The translators then ask them questions to see if they understand the meaning. After the testing, the text is revised using the testers' suggestions. Comprehension questions are produced for each chapter.
Checking
The final checks are made with the help of a consultant. The Kera text is read to a native speaker (who has not been involved in the translation process and who also speaks French). The consultant asks him to explain in French the Kera text he just heard. In this way the consultant can tell that he has understood the text. This is called back translating.
