Proposed Refurbishment of Existing Shops and Flats and Extension to Form four Additional Flats at 89-91, Perowne Way, Sandown, Isle of Wight.

This project has only recently commenced on site.

The site lies in a residential estate on the outskirts of Sandown. The existing building consists of two shops with two existing flats over. The building has remained empty for a couple of years.

The site was purchased by South Wight Housing Association. The idea of the project was to convert the two shops into one and refurbish the existing flats. There was also permission granted for four additional flats to serve allocated housing needs on the side of the existing building.

The project is a Partnering project between all parties involved and is being run under an ACA PPC 2000 contract.

The Mazillius Chatwin Partnership are responsible for the project from Inception to completion in all stages of the works.
