Implementation
of a sketch design by HS:1 Architecture (Netherlands)
for the renovation of a run down but popular City Centre
car park, this commission involved the completion of
a detailed design with building approval and construction
design to completion. This simple and elegant solution
provides the car park with a stylish, ventilated façade
clad with Siberian Larch louvres and sharply detailed
coated steel cladding to ramps and the feature window.
A new glazed kiosk at ground level and new technology
brings the building up to date with current parking standards
and quality, whilst providing an interesting distraction
to the pattern of tall buildings in Waterloo Street.
