Designers and Manufacturers of all Electronic and Electrical equipment are required to ensure that their products comply with the Regulatory requirements of relevant Safety Standards. For products falling under the EEC Directive 73/23/EEC (Low Voltage Directive) as amended by article 13 of the Council Directive 93/68/EEC (The CE Marking Directive), 93/42/EEC (Medical Equipment Directive) and the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations, SI No. 3260: 1994 for Low Voltage equipment, - Machinery, -Medical devices etc, must carry the CE Mark.

IT and Telecommunications products (computers, servers, Network Management systems, telephones, GSM Base Station Systems, Communication Lasers, Satellite Receivers, Digital Televisions etc.) are required to comply with a relevant international standard such as: IEC 60950, IEC60065, IEC 60825, IEC 60215 and their derivative national standards. Automotive and Domestic products have to meet their relevant standards.

Our fully equipped Independent safety laboratory offers an extensive range of full compliance testing and (where required) third party approval of the product against defined standards in addition to pre-production Basic Safety Assessment of products to the relevant National and International Safety Standards.

We are skilled in the preparation and production of Safety Technical Construction Files and can provide product design review input and consultancy services. This service assesses all design changes to a product during its life to determine the impact of the proposed engineering change or cost reduction programme  on its Safety compliance. We can advise on additional testing requirements or a Safety Documentation update. Our reports are accepted by many Certification Bodies.
