James Nolan:
James is the head of the legal team and is also manager of the organisation. James did his degree at Liverpool John Moores University and gained his employment law experience at CAB and was head of the Employment Law Department at James Murray Solicitors.
Bethan Parry :
Bethan has been with M.E.L since August 2006.
She completed her law degree
at the University of Liverpool and did her Legal Practitioner Course at the
College of Law in Chester. She is currently working at M.E.L part-time
whilst she completes her Masters degree in Law Medicine.
Nicola Douglas:
Nicola has been employed at M.E.L since April 2007. She completed the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester Metropolitan University, obtaining the degree of barrister-in-law and was called to the Bar in 2006. Prior to this, Nicola completed her law degree at the Liverpool John Moores University, graduating in 2004. She then went on to study for her Masters degree in European Law at the University of Liverpool and graduated in 2005.
Stephen Rochford:
Steve was initially a volunteer of M.E.L. but quickly gained employment law experience and has been employed since 2004. Steve studied at Mansfield College Oxford University. He began his career at a local CAB, but specialised in employment law, in particular discrimination law.
Paul Bedson:
Paul specialises in discrimination law and also delivers employment law training to other non-profit agencies. Paul was employed as a legal advocate for USDAW for many years before joining M.E.L. in 2005.
