Baptisms
Baptism is the appointed way of entry into Christ's Church.
In the Church of Scotland the sacrament of baptism can be celebrated at any stage of a person's life.
In baptism, young or old, we are baptised into the love of God, the God who loved us before we loved Him. We baptise infants in the hope and expectation that they be brought up in the Christian Church and family of God.
Usually then as a Minister, I am looking for signs that this is the parent's intention in the case of a baby/child. If you do wish a child to be baptised or to be baptised yourself, please contact me. I will be happy to discuss your wishes with you.
