The Guild
A serious (?) discussion
The aim of the Guild is to invite and encourage both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action. We are currently following the theme "Called to act justly" and our speakers are linked to this them. We aim to raise money for people less fortunate than ourselves.
We also have social activities including a Christmas party and a summer tea party and we go on two outings a year when we have lunch together and visit a place of interest.
Our ages range from 50 - 90 years but younger people will be made very welcome. We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm and the third Monday at 2.30pm in the Church Centre, No 35 Midstocket Road. Jean Sharp is President and Betty Calder Secretary.
