A serious (?) discussion
We are currently following the theme "Let's Live, Body, Mind and Soul" and our
speakers are linked to this theme. This year we have heard
about Fair Trade, the local Community Council, "Fittie", India, and a Japanese
POW camp.
We raise money for people less fortunate than ourselves, have a Christmas party and a summer tea party. We go on two outings a year when we have lunch together and visit a place of interest.
Our ages range from 50 - 90 years but younger people will be made very welcome.
We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm and the third Monday at 2.30pm, in the Church Centre, No 35 Midstocket Road. Our meetings last 1½ to 2 hours. June Morrison is President and Betty Calder is Secretary. Contact June on 636163 or email JUNEMOR151@SUPANET.COM
