Walking Group - "The Social Strollers"
At Dunnottar Castle
Midstocket Parish Church has an active Walking group. Walks take place
every two weeks, and start from the Church (Harcourt Road) on Sunday afternoons
at 1.30pm.
The programme for the Strollers has a variety of walks of different lengths, and its members enjoy fresh air, exercise and good companionship. Typically, an outing will be a 3 - 6 mile walk.
In the winter months, the walks are shorter and nearer the city (e.g. around Drum Castle, Dunnottar or Tyrebagger Hill); in the summertime, the walks may be longer and be further afield (e.g. Aboyne Loch, The Braes O' Gight at Methlick or Loch Muick).
