PHILOSOPHY AND SPIRITUALITY
DISCUSSION GROUP
The philosophy and spirituality
discussion group has now been running for some time and lots of
interesting discussions have come out of it. So far we have
discussed topics such as: love, the nature of evil, hope, and we
have also learnt a bit more about some thinkers such as
Socrates, Descartes and Karl Marx.
Some members are actively
involved in the discussion, others prefer to listen. The
atmosphere is relaxed and the only commitment required is that
we listen to one another with respect and try and stick to the
topic that has been chosen. Free tea and coffee are available
and members are free to leave the room at any time.
Members choose all the topics
that are discussed. New ideas for discussion are always welcome.
A magazine has been
produced from the discussions of the Philosophy and Spirituality
