Wycombe MIND was formed  in 1989 by a group of people involved  with mental health services  either as service users or as health professionals.

The common aim was and continues to be supporting and empowering people experiencing  severe and enduring mental health problems.  We ensure that all our enquirers receive relevant advice and  information.

Wycombe Mind is affiliated to National Mind  .

1 in 4 people in the UK will experience mental distress during the course of any given  year.  Mental distress can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or sexuality.

Although it’s common there is still a lot of misunderstanding and stigma attached to admitting you  are having difficulties or asking for help. At  Wycombe MIND we aim to raise awareness and welcome members, visitors and clients under our equal opportunity policy.  We also foster partnerships with other organisations.
