Purchased new by Jennifer Kempster shortly after completing her PPL at Fowlmere. KEMI was flown across the Atlantic during October 1998 and delivered to Fowlmere 5th November 1998 having changed her factory registration from N41493 to GKEMI.

This aircraft is really a 'sister ship' to GDIXY being only 15 aircraft 'newer' than GDIXY. GKEMI differs slightly in that she has a 'normal' DI as opposed to GDIXY (and GJACS) slaved compass systems. Otherwise, she has King Avionics, KLN89B with nav coupler to KAP140 two axis auto pilot, elec trim, dual altimeters, standby vacuum pump ,mode 'S', 4 seat intercom, vent fan, leather interior, life raft, 4 life vests, PLB, handheld VHF with headset adapter, two headsets and documentation enabling flights 'foreign'.
