Overview
Second Brain is an app for aggregating online website content i.e. an online bookmarking site. As well as website pages you can also bookmark images, blog entries, maps, spreadsheets, and documents. The variety of data that can be saved makes it compelling against the leader Delicious. Second Brain enables content to be stored into a collection. Using social networking features it enables content to be shared or saved. You join as a members and can allow others to see your collections, who can then "follow" them. You can also post comments or start a discussion about subject areas. Second Brain has typical web app features: indexing, advance search, tagging, and importing. Users have a simple login process leading to a personal homepage for importing content, invite friends, and making collections. January 2010.

Superior content aggregator
Second Brain is close to being the complete aggregator of web content with its ability to catalogue all types of content. Its ability to automatically pull content on the net makes it attractive to power users. Whilst well designed and easy to navigate it has a dark look and feel to it and not as clean as many web 2.0 sites.

Overview
Still in beta DandyID is an online social networking aggregation app. Its aim is to make your life simpler by bringing together and maintaining your identities online on one site. You can share all or some of them to the public. The homepage acts as a list of the social media sites. The app possibly has the longest list of apps you can add. To entice users they are given a sub-domain and their own profile that can be used on a DandyID-enabled website. A useful feature is the ability to create a centralised contact list. Conclusions
Overall, this app will appeal to many that have identities spread across many sites and would appreciate an online app that both works well and has widgets. However it is ultimately a list not content aggregation.
