Overview
Feedly is graphical multi-layered view of news feeds synchronised with Google Reader. Feedly is a home page with a magazine style. The main page shows the latest new items from subscribed feeds. \nd your sharing history. You can also explore stories from similar feeds. you can view the full item and share it. On the What's New page you view latest updates and recommended articles from friends divided up by topic, gathered from Google Reader. Like Facebook it has a wall to interact with others. July 2009.

Feedly adds sophistication and social networking to Goodle Reader but is of no use if you do not use Google Reader.

Headup
Overview
Headup is a Firefox plugin that analyses your browsing to provide you with more information about your subject of interest. The little Headup logo appears to help you, and when you click on it a window opens to give you structured information. Headup also works when you highlight text on a website, and gives you information. Typical information includes related news and blog posts, reviews, photos, etc. Headup is inconsistent in its information gathering but works well with IMDb, to which is tightly integrated but can be wrong-footed by lesser subjects. It’s a useful tool for heavy browsers. As a web enhancement it is simple and powerful but can be unreliable.
