Overview
Tarpipe helps you share your content over your social network websites. It has an increasing number of social media sites on its portfolio. For the heavy user it can automate this process at regular intervals or you can set it to send up by an email. It can also bring togeterh video with other types of media into a single blog post. Finally, also for heavy users, it can also show you a stream of articles you have published to review. It uses OpenID. July 2009.

This is an essential tool for heavy users of social network sites who regularly publish social media. It would need to provide all the main social network sites in its inventory to have value.

Overview
Feedjournal is the opposite of the trend of moving content from print to electronic format in that it takes your RSS feeds and prints them into a newspaper format (on PDF) to read or print. As there is no OPML option the user needs to input each feed manually. There are options for publishing since your last visit or by time although the site gives you no time to think about this. With columns it is professionally laid out with ‘continued from page X’ for long articles. The site is functional and the options are limited. On screen links and rich media are not carried forward onto the PDF. However, the news paper published on PDF is excellent with the option to turn off images. July 2009.

It is the leading web app to produce feeds into a newspaper. It does the basic job well but needs more options in particular OPML for importing feeds and more options for the PDF viewer.
