Newscred
Overview
Newscred is an aggregator of breaking news focused overtly on specialising and sharing. It wants you to create an online content aggregator on a particular subject and then share it with the world It comes with a daily email summary but without a print option.
As with iCurrent it gathers content from what it defines as credible news sources from all over the world. Its sources include quality newspapers, TV networks and popular blogs. You can create a personalised newspaper that allows you to select your sources of news in predefined categories. Also, you can vote on articles - but its usefulness depends on the number and type of users. The site is professionally designed to resemble a newspaper and busy without being messy through the use of tabs. It is very similar in look and feel to iCurrent. January 2010
Newscred
Conclusions
A news gathering service that will suit users who want to create a news site around one or a few subject areas. The site will appeal to fans of Digg who like to rate news, but not to those who want to control their news.

Overview
An automated RSS feed aggregator that publishes all your feeds into one document. The design is restrictive and basic using the same two-column design on every page. While links are active it lacks rich media on the screen. Slightly worrying is there is no account to set up. The process for building your document is automated by time and through an email address. I found this dictated to me when I could have a copy. July 2009.
