SCATT (Supporting Carers of people with Autism Through
Training)
Are you a parent/carer of a child or adult with ASD
(Autism Spectrum Disorder) and have not attended a SCATT course before,
we are currently planning the next series now.
• Next Course due to start 22nd February
The course includes:
:: An introductory session (to find out more about SCATT)
:: Topical sessions based on subjects
such as;
- Background to Autism/Theory of Mind Deficit
- Communication
- Education
- Living with autism, practical ideas
- Behaviour Management
- Social stories
- Autism and the family
:: A reunion and other one off main events.
The meetings will be arranged flexibly to suit the majority
of those wishing to attend, and some crêche help may be available
to assist you to attend.
