In order to show fair trade in practice, the World Shop sells a wide range of fairly-traded goods from around the world: tea, coffee, chocolate and other foods, multicultural crafts and artefacts, and handmade papers. The World Shop also sells books and teaching materials on development and environmental issues, children’s books and an ever-growing range of world music.

Fair Trade

The World Shop’s fair trade policy means that we only buy imported goods from suppliers committed to the principles of fair trade. This ensures producers receive the best possible deal in terms of wages and working conditions, natural resources are used in a sustainable way and production processes do not damage the environment.

Fair trade gives the people who make or grow a product the opportunity to make the most from their efforts.

Opening times: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm
