Feb 1st/2nd == Overnight 4 to 5 inches fell Schools in Newmarket shut. Roads disrupted

Feb 5th     == From 4am to 8AM About 2 inches fell Some Road disrupted

Feb 6th     == From 5am to Mid day, started with sleet/Rain then about 2in of Snow

               fell between 9am to 11am

Feb 10th    == About 1 inc of Snow fell overnight

 

May 24th    == Highest Temp so far 23.9c 

May 31st    == Highest Temp so far 24.5c  

 

June 1st    == Highest Temp so far 24.8c

June 7th    == Electrical Thunderstorms which resulted in 1.30 inches of Rain between

               1450hrs and 1610. A Day total of 1.74inches of Rain, the 5th wettest day

               since 1986. Localised Flash Floods. 

June 15th   == Multi Thunderstorms between 1600 - 1800 hrs with 1.15 inches of rain

               with localised flooding. During this period the temperature dropped form 23.1c

               at 1610hrs to 12.9c at 1740hrs. Also affected by a power cut at 1700hrs

               lasting about 10 minutes.

June 25th   == Hottest day of the year so far 29.9c.

 

August 19th == Hottest Day of the year so far 30.4c
