Gearbox

A noisy gearbox indicated the bearing were shot. Also  a very strange rattle when braking hard meant it was time to remove the cog box.
Strip down on the bench, All the bearing were replaced, but gears and syncros were reused

Partly reassembled without overdrive

Complete with overdrive attached. Rubber mounts and all seals were also replaced. Thrust bearing installed with greased splines The marks on the bell housing are where the clutch locating dowels were being thrown about.

And corresponding new clutch. I ordered and original Laycock from Fitchets
